How to join CYC

Cardiff Yacht Cub depends totally on it's members to survive and develop. We are always keen for new members to join as individuals or as families.

Currently, the best way to join is to visit the club and pick up an application form at the club bar. If you've got any questions please email or phone.

(Note: All fees and charges are inclusive of VAT where applicable)

Single membership £220
Family membership £240
Junior membership (18 to 25 year olds) £65
Senior membership (age 65 and after 5 years membership) £65
Work levy (reduced by £10 for each voluntary hour worked) £100
Bar levy – compulsory for all aged 18 years and over £50
Mooring fees (vessels up to 25ft LOA) £250
Per each additional foot £5
Pontoon berth maintenance fee £60
Pontoon berth (one off payment) £2,300

Members are expected to spend 10 hours per year contributing to the club or to pay an annual work levy, currently £100. Also, all members are required to purchase £50 of bar tokens redeemable at the club bar.

Senior membership is for over 65 and member for at least 5 years.

Junior membership is 18-25
