Notice to Tender Owners.
Published 20:04 on 10 Jun 2022
The Harbourmaster has arranged for the launch area between the two concrete slipways, including the area where the yacht tenders are moored alongside the pontoon, to be weeded by an external contractor using a floating machine on Friday 17th June.
To maximise the area available for the weeding operation all yacht tenders need to be moved.
Please will members with tenders arrange for their tenders to be moved to the grassed area around the top of the older small slipway closest to the pontoon where tenders are moored.
The dinghy section, with assistance from the Harbourmaster, will move any tenders which remain moored alongside the pontoon on the evening of Wednesday 15th June.
Members with tenders will still be able to use their tenders but will be required to launch and recover via the slipway.
Members can replace their tenders alongside the pontoon from late afternoon on Friday 17th June.
The dinghy section, with assistance from the Harbourmaster, will replace any tenders remaining on the grassed area on the morning of Saturday 18th June.
Members with any concerns regarding the above or requiring further information on the weeding operations should contact the Harbourmaster.
Thank you for your cooperation during these maintenance operations.
